  • As an official EICC member, it is the responsibility for Quanta Computer to comply with the announced EICC code of conduct in the process of product design, product manufacture, product sales, and the provisions of after-sales services to customers.
  • Ⅰ.CSR commitment
    1. No use of child labor, and does not accept its suppliers or subcontractors to use child labor.
    2. Respect employee's freedom, prohibit any forms of forced labor,and does not accept its suppliers or subcontractors to use forced labor.
    3. Provide safe and healthy work and living conditions, ensure employees' safety and health.
    4. Promote cooperation between the labor and capital, respect employees' opinions.
    5. Provide equal and fair working environments, and prohibit any forms of discrimination.
    6. Respect employees' basic human rights, and prohibit any forms of insulting behavior.
    7. Arrange production schedule, employee's working time and rest time reasonably.
    8. Provide reasonable salaries and benefits, which can at least satisfy employee's basic needs.
    9. Respect employee's right to associate freely and bargain collectively.
    10. Comply with the universal enterprise ethic standards.
  • When suppliers supply products or services to Quanta or our affiliates, we request that suppliers support and comply with our CSR policy and the EICC code of conduct. We also audit our suppliers form time to time to realize CSR standards.
  • Ⅱ.Statement of Conflict Minerals
  • Concerning the deterioration of society, environment and human rights as a result of the military control over metals like gold (Au), tantalum (Ta), tungsten (W), and tin (Sn) (short as 3TG) by the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) nearby non-governmental military groups, Quanta insists on no use of conflict minerals policy by supporting and following Conflict-Free Sourcing Initiative (CFSI, http://www.conflictfreesourcing.org) strategies and approaches on 3TG, which is compliant and compatible with “OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible supply Chains of Minerals from Conflict-Affected and High-Risk Areas”.
  • CFSI’s conflict-free Smelter Program (CFSP) implements 3rd-party audits on smelters and refineries, at the same time, conflict-free minerals from the DRC and neighboring countries are still acceptable. Quanta sources only from publishes compliant or equivalent smelter & refiner lists, thus, its 3TG will not directly or indirectly finance or benefit armed groups that are perpetrators of serious human rights abuse and practice.
  • Quanta demands compliance with above mentioned policy and approach from all its suppliers, and adopts CFSI Conflict Minerals Reporting Template (CMRT) and package tools or equivalent for 3TG due diligence reporting in value chain.
  • Ⅲ.Compliance
    1. Compliance with SA8000(Social Accountability 8000)、EICC(Electronic Industry Code of Conduct)standards
    2. Compliance with related international laws, national and local laws and regulations.
  • Ⅳ、Business Ethics
  • Quanta has created, Guidelines for Ethical Corporate Management, Corporate Governance Best Practice Principles, and Guidelines for Codes of Ethical Conduct that can be reviewed at Quanta Computer’s official website / investor services / corporate governance / rules and regulations.
  • The Code of Ethical Business Conduct requires all employees to have integrity and be trustworthy, and includes a list of rules for corporate governance and employees. The Human Resource Center will oversee the state of the Company, and check the need to adjust, revise, or expand the Code of Conduct. The revised Code shall be approved by the General Manager and announced on the intranet and include a declaration of avoid conflict interest before being implemented accordingly.
  • Quanta will remind corporate governance members and employees to read and sign the Code of Ethical Business Conduct online to indicate compliance. All employees must substantiate and ensure understand, accept, and comply with the requirements. And we also seek for the understanding and support of the Company's customers, suppliers, business partners, and others related to the Company's business operation. In addition, Quanta also released an EICC compliance statement to the supplier, the statement can be perused online and signed by the supplier.
  • All of the employees shall be alert to any activity against the Code of Conduct. Should they have any questions or find any activity against the Code of Conduct, they shall be obligated to report to their executive officers. If necessary, they may report to the HR executive officer or internal audit manager, or via the employees’ complaining channel. Quanta will protect the complainant from unfair retaliation or treatment in the process of the investigation in which the complainant participates upon his/her complaint about the misconduct.
  • Stakeholders can use the Quanta official website / company information / stakeholder information /communication channels to submit their opinions or inquiries for CSR or business conduct, which are offered in three languages: traditional Chinese, simplified Chinese, and English.
