Human Rights Awareness Risks
- In response to the rising importance of human rights topics, if there’re concerns of violating human rights in the process of product design, manufacturing, sales, and providing customers after-sales services, the Company’s reputation would be damaged and normal operation would also be impacted.
- As a member of the RBA (Responsible Business Alliance), we have enhanced RBA audit items and SA8000 certification at all sites to ensure compliance of human rights requirements.
- Amended “Human Rights and Working Conditions Policies” as the Company’s guidelines for implementing human rights related matters. We have amended and regulated various procedures on human rights in order to comply with international trends and to identify potential risks as a criterion for timely remediation of human rights risks in the event of occurrence.
- Added "Non-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Policy" to ensure the dignity and rights of all employees and stakeholders are well protected through systematic preventive, corrective, and handling mechanisms.
- Conduct annual examination and risk assessment on major human rights issues. If high risk items are identified, prevention measures are then proposed.
- Conduct annual human rights due diligence investigation to identify potential risk factors, and to propose corresponding mitigation measures.
