Quanta Human Rights Policy
Quanta Computer Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company” or "Quanta") is committed to safeguarding the rights and interests of all stakeholders, preventing any form of human rights violation, and actively fostering a work environment that respects human rights and dignity. At the same time, Quanta regularly reviews and updates its Human Rights Policy to ensure alignment with the latest international standards and local regulations.
Through measures such as education and training, internal audits, risk assessments, and grievance mechanisms, we strengthen human rights management, promote sustainable development, and provide employees and partners with a safe, fair, and respectful workplace and collaboration environment. Quanta is committed to fulfilling its responsibility to protect human rights through responsible business practices and working together with global stakeholders to advance and uphold human rights values.
Scope of Application
- This policy applies to Quanta Group and its affiliated entities, covering all managers and employees (including all personnel employed by Quanta Group), as well as suppliers, contractors, partners, and other stakeholders. The scope further extends to customers and related parties within the value chain.

- Anti-Discrimination and Anti-Harassment Quanta firmly opposes all forms of discrimination and harassment and is committed to creating a diverse, inclusive, and respectful workplace. We comply with international human rights standards as well as the laws and regulations of all operating locations to ensure that every employee is treated fairly and with dignity at work. Quanta has established and implemented clear anti-discrimination and anti-harassment policies, provides education and training to raise employee awareness of equality and respect, and has set up confidential grievance channels to ensure that any related incidents are promptly investigated and properly addressed.
- Equal Remuneration Quanta is committed to fully implementing the principle of equal remuneration, ensuring that all employees, regardless of gender, age, race, religion, nationality, marital status, or other personal characteristics, receive fair compensation for the same position and work content. We strictly adhere to international human rights standards and relevant laws at all operating locations in establishing our compensation system, and conduct regular internal reviews to ensure fairness and compliance. Quanta strives to create a diverse, inclusive, and equitable workplace, raising all employees’ awareness of equal remuneration and equal rights through education and advocacy. We firmly believe that equal remuneration is a fundamental cornerstone for protecting employees’ basic rights and one of the core values driving sustainable organizational development.
- Labor Rights Quanta is committed to prohibiting all forms of human trafficking and forced labor, ensuring that all labor and services are voluntary and not coerced through violence, threats, confinement, or punishment. We strictly comply with wage and working hours regulations at all operating locations, pay fair living wages on time, and establish leave and attendance management systems in accordance with applicable laws. In addition, the employment age of personnel must meet local minimum age requirements, and child labor is strictly prohibited. In cases where child labor is inadvertently employed, immediate remedial measures will be taken. For workers under the age of 18, Quanta ensures that they are not assigned night work or any hazardous tasks, safeguarding their health and safety. We are committed to creating a healthy and safe work environment and adopting reasonable measures to achieve zero occupational injuries and zero incidents. Furthermore, we strive to promote employees’ physical and mental well-being and work-life balance.
- Freedom of Association and Communication Quanta respects all employees’ legal rights, in accordance with the laws of each operating location, to freely associate, organize (or choose not to join) labor unions, engage in collective bargaining, and participate in peaceful assemblies. We are committed to establishing continuous, two-way communication channels between employees and management, fostering an environment where employees can freely express opinions, share concerns, or provide suggestions. Quanta also sets up employee communication channels in accordance with relevant laws, ensuring that employees exercising their rights are not subject to discrimination, retaliation, threats, or harassment.
- Occupational Health and SafetyQuanta is committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment, recognizing occupational health and safety as a fundamental cornerstone for sustainable business operations. We strictly comply with international standards and the regulations of all operating locations and have established safety and health management systems covering hazard identification, risk assessment, accident prevention, and emergency response measures to ensure employees work in a healthy and safe environment. Quanta conducts regular inspections of facilities and operational environments, provides training and guidance, and establishes grievance mechanisms to ensure employee feedback is promptly addressed. The Company is committed to continuously improving management effectiveness, promoting a zero-incident goal, and creating a safe, healthy, and sustainable work environment.
- Conflict MineralsQuanta is committed to responsible sourcing and pledges to avoid the use of minerals from conflict-affected regions associated with human rights violations. We strictly adhere to the Responsible Business Alliance (RBA) Code of Conduct and the due diligence requirements of the OECD Guidelines for Multinational Enterprises, actively identifying and managing potential human rights and environmental risks in the supply chain, and ensuring that the sourcing of tin, tungsten, tantalum, gold, and other minerals complies with ethical and legal standards. Quanta requires suppliers to provide information regarding the origin of minerals to ensure compliance throughout the upstream supply chain and conducts regular audits and risk assessments. We work closely with supply chain partners to promote the use of certified conflict-free minerals. The Company is committed to continually enhancing transparency, publicly reporting conflict minerals management results, and advancing responsible sourcing throughout the global supply chain to contribute to sustainable development goals.
Management Approach
- Policy Compliance and Administration Quanta fully implements its Human Rights Policy to ensure adherence to relevant standards and requirements. The execution of the policy is reported annually to the Board of Directors. Each operating location is responsible for daily operations and monitoring, and management effectiveness is ensured through regular assessments and systematic tools. At the same time, Quanta provides multiple confidential channels for employees, partners, suppliers, and contractors to communicate and resolve concerns. The policy is reviewed periodically and updated as necessary.
- Management and Due Diligence Mechanisms Quanta integrates responsible business conduct into its policies and management systems in accordance with the OECD Due Diligence Guidance for Responsible Business Conduct. The Company regularly identifies and assesses risks, develops preventive and mitigation measures, and implements monitoring mechanisms to ensure policy compliance and continuous improvement in effectiveness. Should our operational activities cause or contribute to human rights violations, Quanta will promptly activate remediation mechanisms and, when necessary, collaborate with relevant stakeholders to prevent recurrence.
- Communication and TrainingQuanta provides professional education and training to employees and relevant stakeholders to enhance understanding of and capability to implement the Human Rights Policy. At the same time, the Company addresses material human rights issues, identifies affected parties, and establishes diverse and open communication channels to foster trust and engagement. Quanta also regularly discloses the outcomes and progress of human rights management through the ESG website, Sustainability Report, and Human Rights Report, ensuring transparency and promoting effective interaction with stakeholders.
- Reporting and Remediation Mechanisms Quanta has established formal reporting channels for employees, suppliers, and other external stakeholders to report any illegal activities, human rights violations, or breaches of the Code of Conduct or Business Integrity Guidelines. We comply with relevant whistleblowing regulations in each jurisdiction, promptly investigate reported matters, and take action to mitigate adverse human rights impacts. Quanta is committed to zero tolerance for retaliation against any individual who, in good faith, reports illegal activities, violations of the Code of Conduct, or other company policies.
