Quanta Computer Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "the Company") deeply recognizes the importance of biodiversity for global ecological stability and sustainable human development. We are committed to taking science-based actions to protect and restore the natural environment, achieving a future where humanity and ecology prosper together. Our commitment covers our own operations and the entire value chain, integrating biodiversity into our operational strategies and management practices, with the long-term goal of achieving No Net Loss (NNL) and Net Positive Impact (NPI) on nature and biodiversity by 2050. We conduct annual reviews of biodiversity and no deforestation action progress and performance, disclosing relevant content on our company website and sustainability reports.

To realize our biodiversity and no deforestation commitment, we implement the following specific actions:

• Risk Management and Target Setting
  ○ We plan to conduct biodiversity risk assessments to comprehensively understand our operations and supply chain's dependencies, impacts, risks, and opportunities on natural resources.
  ○ We gradually reduce the impact of business operations on ecosystems and promote ecological restoration in priority conservation areas.
• Value Chain Collaboration
  ○ We collaborate with suppliers and partners to ensure operational activities avoid impacts on sensitive ecosystems.
  ○ We encourage and support upstream and downstream supply chain participation in biodiversity protection actions, enhancing value chain members' ecological management capabilities through capacity building.
• Mitigation and Compensation
  ○ We prioritize avoiding impacts on nature and address unavoidable impacts through reduction and response measures.
  ○ We promote ecological restoration and vegetation rehabilitation actions to balance the impact of business activities on nature.
• No Deforestation Commitment
  ○ The Company commits to evaluating and avoiding no gross deforestation activities and achieving no net deforestation goals through afforestation and ecological restoration, ensuring the integrity and sustainability of forest ecosystems.
