Energy Management Policy

Quanta Computer Energy Management Policy

Quanta Computer Inc. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) is committed to safeguarding the interests of all stakeholders, upholding the principle of coexisting with the Earth, and recognizing both the finite nature of natural resources and the importance of corporate sustainability. The Company has pledged to align with the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) and is dedicated to formulating and implementing targets that meet global carbon reduction standards, actively addressing the challenges of climate change. Guided by the recognition of energy conservation and carbon reduction, the Company continually improves energy performance and efficiency, reduces energy use in production and operations, and hereby commits to the following principles:

• Implementing energy management systems to meet customer requirements.
  The Company adopts and implements the ISO 50001 Energy Management System across all sites and promotes third-party verification. This approach ensures that customer requirements for energy management are fulfilled, while audit results help identify energy-intensive areas for further optimization and enhanced efficiency.
• Ensuring regulatory compliance and prioritizing energy-efficient procurement.
  The Company strictly complies with all applicable energy-related laws and regulations, recognizing compliance as a fundamental basis of business operations. In parallel, we prioritize the procurement of products and services with high energy efficiency and environmental certifications, thereby reducing overall energy consumption and supporting sustainable development goals.
• Enhancing energy efficiency and eliminating energy waste and inefficiencies.
  The Company integrates energy management into daily business strategies and strives to continuously improve energy performance. Through optimization and technological innovation, we eliminate energy waste and inefficiencies to the greatest extent possible. We implement comprehensive energy-saving measures, conduct regular assessments, and ensure that each department adheres to best practices for efficient energy utilization.
• Promoting energy conservation initiatives to fulfill corporate social responsibility.
  The Company incorporates energy conservation actions into corporate culture and daily operations, thereby transforming its commitment into concrete practices. By continuously implementing energy conservation projects and activities, we further fulfill our corporate social responsibility (CSR), uphold our environmental sustainability commitments, and create shared value across the economic, environmental, and social dimensions.
• Fostering awareness of energy conservation and implementing energy management practices.
  The Company actively promotes the core concept of energy conservation and pledges to provide education and awareness programs for all employees. Through training and internal communication, we enhance employees' understanding of the Company’s commitments and policies, ensure all operations meet high-efficiency energy standards, and encourage employees to implement energy management practices into their daily work and conduct.

Through continuous monitoring and disclosure, we aim to foster joint progress between the Company and society toward a sustainable future.
